Moriori - Mihiti and Moe, of the Wheteina tribe in Hawa'iki, settle on Rekohu after travelling in their canoes, the RANGI MATA & the OROPUKE, respectively. A group of earlier people are there, they are descended from Te Aomarama and Rongomaiwhenua. Nunukuwhenua's Law is enforced. |

(NB: highlighted canoes settled around Auckland) Some of the canoes report finding other settlers here before them, they are called the Tangata Whenua.
